This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Shirley Hamilton who was born on August 16, 1921 and passed away on September 15, 2011.

Shirley lived a phenomenal life, beginning her modeling & acting career, managing the famous Patricia Stevens School & Modeling Agency and managing Talent Incorporated before starting her own agency, Shirley Hamilton, Inc. in 1962.

Her agency life spanned much of Chicago's dynamic advertising history. A strong advocate for talent, she always put talent & clients first. Her early and longlasting success is a tribute to that philosophy.

We hope to share many more of her stories with you over time, we know many of you have Shirley stories of your own like late night or early morning calls for auditions, or that great after work table at the London House and Corona Cafe. Too many to recall just now. We hope you can share your stories with us too. We like to think of her professional life as a history of Chicago advertising - at its best!
